Wrapped in the creative aura of Milan’s Navigli district, Ultra celebrated the launch of Utopia, the third issue of Ultra Magazine, at the Centro dell’Incisione.

The courtyard, draped in ivy and surrounded by the works of master engravers, became the stage for an evening where print met imagination. Friends, readers, and collaborators gathered to toast a magazine that dares to dream.

The night brought together some of the issue’s contributors: Charlotte Bräuer – product designer, curator, writer, and co-founder of QUEI Studio – Milovan Farronato, renowned curator of the Italian Pavilion at the 2019 Venice Biennale, and one of Ultra’s recurring voices, Stex Auer (aka Stefano Lazzari), philosopher of the metaverse and founder of Digitalguys.

This issue takes the reader into Utopia – not as a distant ideal, but as a call to imagine.

Through virtual reality, augmented reality, spatial computing, and the metaverse, our contributors show how the impossible can become the imaginable. It’s a collective vision that dared to challenge the present and sketch the contours of a future that was, perhaps, within reach.
